we bought this sheepskin from a friendly couple at the black sheep gathering in Oregon this past June. if you want to know, from my perspective, the best option for buying the highest quality pelt at the lowest possible price, its at a fiber festival (they take place all over the country, usually on an annual basis)

  1. their perceived softness has always drawn me; it stays too warm here to appreciate one's true value.

  2. ...especially if you can support local farms! FYI/ when I send my farm-raised pelts for processing, I request 'washable'. Also, dried lavender buds may be ground in an old electric coffee grinder nicely. Happy Holidays!
