last year renee sent me the a set of beautiful, simple candles. I haven't had a chance to use them, as I didn't have proper holders for them til now. I just picked these two abstract pieces from akiko at her open house this past Saturday.. she's holding them all December on Saturdays, Sundays & Mondays (more info here).. I recommend making the trip!

along with an opportunity to browse through & buy her beautiful, affordable ceramic pieces, she's serving homemade sake & bread. a super nice way to spend the evening
