linen bandage necklace

I spent the better part of yesterday working on two more fiber necklaces. This one came out strong & sturdy, the second a bit too delicate to add to my shop (pictured below)

This one started as a felted necklace (over glass beads & hemp string), then evolved into being wrapped with wool yarn first, next a wound strip of dark green wool jersey, and finally in gray linen stitched all the way around.

I'm proud of this one- it took a lot of work & patience
