I could teach you! Although, you'd have to wait several months... Woodblock carving/printing is how I got the scar on my thumb. I'm not sure if I've ever told you that in our scar/accident story exchanges in the past.
Thinking of you daily, Caitlin. Miss you & will write you soon! So excited for you and all of these incredible things coming your way. xoxo
totally just bought a chunk of the speedball carving plastic to do the very same thing! really, really be careful when using the lino cutters...they are seriously scarily sharp. (and now that my mom moment is over, have fun!)
& yes, I will definitely try to be careful- I don't have the best track record with using sharp objects without injury.. I hope you enjoy it too! & beautiful polaroids btw
I just got this book:
ReplyDeletePrintmaking: A Complete Guide
to Materials and Processes
by Bill Fick & Beth Grabowski
(from amazon, of course)
It looks like a good one!
thanks, Lauren, I'll check it out!
