( custom nap mat made by the nice people at soaring heart )
this past was busy, productive, a lot of fun, and very tiring. I'm spending this week alone, regrouping, solidifying feeling healthy (I was sick on & off for about a month), feeling good.. here's my plan
do
_______
- walk plenty
- drink water & tea
- eat lots of fish & other healthy, good-feeling foods
- good dinners each night cooked at home
don't
________
- drink coffee, alcohol
- eat bread, pastries etc
- make dates with friends (as fun as they are..)
I'm also in the midst of a month-long spending freeze. so also don't spend much money!
i admire you for the no coffee thing. no wayyyyyyyyyy.
ReplyDeleteso funny, i just made a list this weekend too!
ReplyDeleteno coffee- instead green tea with soy milk (wink, wink olivia;)
no alcohol- instead soda water and bitters (good for dates with friends bc can still enjoy company)
no sugar- instead have pureed frozen banana if I want treat (tastes just like ice cream!)
no flour- period
no dairy- only as topping (like a tiny bit of feta or parm on steamed veggies)
no meat- only as a topping or small side if available and on weekends
no oil- steaming or roasting everything from now on!
YAYYYYY! Dinner Wednesday should be interesting!
sorry to hear you were sick! but glad to hear you are on the road to recovery :) you two have inspired me to make my own list!
ReplyDeletecoffee's not too hard for me, I drink decaf anyhow! :)
ReplyDeletewhat is the story behind the nap mat?
ReplyDeleteI am so curious, I want it for the mid afternoon sunny spot on the floor.
I don't have a full couch in my living room, but often want to take a little nap in the sun there. hence the nap mat :)
