along our road trip in september, we traveled through a good amount of oregon which is a prime area for pacific northwest crafts, most visibly woodworking. we were able to see lots of beautiful things then, and the experience renewed an affinity I've occasionally held for well-constructed, preferably shiny wood objects
even just to view, I think these items (
bowl,
candle holder,
bangles,
salad bowl) are lovely, and I appreciate their utilitarian value as well.. I think it would be awesome to take a wood-working class & get a bit decent at working with some favorite types.. honey shades of maple, lovely variated myrtlewood, deep teaks, and my top favorite, gorgeous black walnut
