


I just saw 'The White Ribbon' last night. I'd seen a preview for it & read a couple of reviews that had gotten me very interested. I often don't know what I think of a film until several days after I see it.. the same is true in this case.
The black & white imagery is beautiful & stark. I'd read- and I think it is safe to say this is true- that this film is an examination of the fundamental German character of the early 1900s. I'd recommend seeing it.
