pendleton :: love letter

its the beginning of fall here, and this is the time of year when I am most excited about pendleton.. the wools, patterns, blankets, weaving, quality.. I love the colors as well, though just from something of a distance


I've collected a few items here & there, and have really enjoyed working with Ginny of timberline who handworks genuine pendleton wools into affordable home items & bags.. awesome custom work here, and I really can't emphasize enough how reasonable her prices are for the quality of materials and her workmanship


the thing I'm most excited about, with regards to pendleton, is that I have finally found & gone for a bed blanket- neutral colors being a spare option of theirs, its not often I find an item I can live with.. its a new design, in black & gray in a southwest print from artist Maria Martinez.. kind of an item that needs to be seen in person to be really loved, but here it is anyhow


.. & on another interesting note about pendleton, I noticed these unusual pillows in their web shop.. apparently they are original photos screened on hemp..
